We are an independent family-owned business that has specialized in creating homes away from home for hard-working people. We started with apartment suites in Parkersburg to serve visiting executives. We’ve been at it for 35 years.
We entered the RV park business in 2008 with the acquisition of Blennerhassett RV Park in Belpre, Ohio. As the 77-lot park got up and running, it became the temporary home base for many Marcellus Shale pipeline workers. Another 52 RV lots came under our umbrella in 2019 through the purchase of Lock 24 RV Park in Racine, Ohio. Eric Pinson, a seasoned traveler who spent several years on the road and in RVs, was put in place as its manager. He has run Lock 24 for six years and eagerly accepted the opportunity to manage Olde Oak as well. Only 14 miles separate the parks.
We aim to foster a chill place to stay where you feel safe and that your needs are attended to.
Onsite guardian, Duke, greets you upon arrival, helps get you parked and oversees your safety. He works closely with Park Manager, Eric, in keeping the park looking great and addressing any issues of concern.
Eric handles the business side. As the main point of contact for customer relations, he’s the one you talk to regarding reservations, payments and your lot area. He oversees park maintenance and has a team of helpers that help him at both parks.
Pinson’s efforts to improve the park and the customer experience is supported in large part by Owners Bonnie and Craig Wix. They draw upon their 35 years’ experience in the hospitality and extended-stay business to help guide and support Olde Oak’s development.
